Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B and Scary Spice, is back as the face of Costa Bingo for a second year.

The Intertain Group Limited made the announcement that Mandalay Media had secured the contract with the former Spice Girl following her successful stint on the Costa Bingo website and in the TV campaign in 2014. The new Costa Bingo campaign, which is set to get underway in late March, is expected to take full advantage of the upcoming summer season with a beach-style theme. Mandalay Media’s head of marketing, Christian Colton, said: “Mel B made a great impact last year.” “She was integral to our site and resonated well with our audience, especially as she became the voice of our bingo caller. We’re very excited to continue working with Mel B for a second year at Costa Bingo,” he added. John Kennedy FitzGerald, CEO of Intertain, was also very complimentary of the impact Mel B has had on the site, and even hinted that the partnership could continue for many more years. “She is globally recognized and resonates with our female customers, which is a key focus for Interain. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Mel B as the company grows in the UK and beyond,” said Mr Kennedy FitzGerald.
