Since Austin Powers film star, Verne Troyer, became the ‘boss’ at online casino, bingo and slots brand, bgo, their profile has never been higher. The shrewd move has also seen other high profile names, such as poker star, Dan Bilzerian, back the company. Now, it appears that socialite Paris Hilton will join Verne as a face of bgo in the new TV advertising campaign.
Paris Hilton will feature in Beat the Boss TV adverts
While it’s been made official that Paris will feature in the ‘Beat the Boss’ adverts, which are due to go live this month, it’s not been announced whether she will be on the side of the Boss. Commenting on the signing of Paris Hilton, Richard Skelhorn, co-founder of bgo, said: “The script we have been working on with Paris is very cool and I hope to increase our exposure and build upon our female player base in particular.” Paris Hilton has a combined following of more than 24 million on social media; something which hasn’t slipped past the attention of Mr Skelhorn. He added: “She is a huge star, there is no bigger celebrity in gaming and I have always wanted to work with her on bgo. Now we have the opportunity to make it happen.”
Paris will promote bgo Casino
It’s expected that bgo will take advantage of the background of the Hilton family, by using Paris to promote the casino branch of the company, rather than bingo or slots, but nothing has yet been confirmed. Paris Hilton also commented: “I’m pleased to be part of the new bgo.com advertising campaign and to be working alongside Verne Troyer. The project is really exciting, I can’t wait for everyone to see it!” Despite only being in its third year, bgo.com is one of the fastest growing gaming companies in the UK, largely in part to its marketing strategy. The previous bgo advertising campaign, which started in November 2014, was hugely successful, and has led to a number of awards.
