A collaboration between the Rank Group and GamCare delivers a new employee training initiative aimed at teaching Rank Employees the importance of safer gambling and social responsibilities within the iGaming industry.
One Day Training Course
Each Rank Employee will get a one-day training programme from GamCare’s intermediate level Social Responsibility and Interaction course across Ranks brands including Mecca Bingo Clubs and Grosvenor Casinos, along with Rank’s digital staff. The tailor-made course sourced after in-depth case studies will be delivered to customer-facing employees to enable them to interact and identify with customers who may present with a gambling-related problem. An advanced two-day course will be delivered to a further 500 employees.
Improving Customer Interaction
John O’Reilly Rank Group CEO said, “I’m delighted that our partnership with GamCare is now being rolled out at such a significant scale. It underlines our relentless commitment to improving how we interact with customers to give them the safest and best experience when they are with us. Safer gambling is a strategic pillar of the Rank Group, and it requires investment, expertise, and a deepening of all our knowledge.” GamCare CEO Anna Hemmings said, “We are pleased to be extending our partnership with Rank to deliver safer gambling training across all their brands. “The investment in their people’s skills and knowledge around customer interaction responsibility should help to reduce the risk of gambling harm in their venues and online.” Rank’s employees will begin training this month and continue until late November 2022. Additionally, the training will deliver motivational interviewing skills, honing the staff’s interaction skills while dealing with customers with a higher risk level.
