Tip Top Bingo Review

There is little in this world more quintessentially British than describing something as ‘tip top’, and that makes it wonderfully charming that it is the title Tip Top Bingo has chosen to show its superiority in the online casino market. And if they left it there, this would from the outset be one of my favourite bingo sites, without even having to dig any deeper into finding out why.

Unfortunately, this is not what has happened, instead Tip Top Bingo is running with a tagline that claims it to be the ‘Best Online Bingo Site of 2016’. Now, there are two problems with that, firstly Tip Top Bingo has been claiming this achievement since it’s relief, which was not even halfway through 2016, so it could be deeply embarrassed if a better one pops up, and the second issue is that considering the highly competitive online bingo market, to claim you are the best makes you look arrogant, and simply by the law of averages is almost definitely not true.

There are some good signs though, Tip Top Bingo is on Dragonfish software, but unlike many others on that same network, it is a standalone site as opposed to a different package around exactly the same content. Coming from the good people at Netboost, Tip Top Bingo certainly has some big names in bingo behind it, so maybe this will prove to be the best bingo site of 2016?

Design and theme

Tip Top Bingo comes with the image of a charming lady holding up two ‘okay’ (or ‘tip top’, I guess) signs across her eyes to appear like glasses while laughing in that depressingly processed manners that so many models that online bingo and casino sites employ seem to do.

The main colour scheme here is white, with specks of pink and green incorporated in what is a refreshingly minimalist approach to design for a site of this kind. This is the first point that you start to consider that you may be dealing with a site that is a little different. Where the majority of online bingo sites throw as much colour and complexity as they can to make an impression, the simple approach selected by Tip Top Bingo becomes a break from the norm, and a very enticing prospect.

With bingo games and slot games accessible with one click from the homepage, as well as customer service and a host of information also available at that same homepage, this site really does impress in many ways aesthetically.

Games

Looking good is one thing, but it is the selection of games that will ultimately lead you to decide if a site is for you or not, so how does Tip Top Bingo do in this regard?

Pretty well is the answer, there are many different bingo rooms for people on any level of budget, there’s also a lot of live chat rooms for you to get to know the other members of the Tip Top Bingo community. There’s almost always a bingo game to play so you’ll never have to wait too long.

However, if you are taking a break from bingo for any reason, there are a fair few slots games to keep you busy. Obviously, being a bingo site, it isn’t the most amazing selection you will ever see, but with Millionaire Genie, Piggy Payout, and Nightmare on Elm Street among the choices, you’ll find something to pass the time.

So, is Tip Top Bingo the ‘Best Online Bingo Site of 2016’? Probably not, to be honest, but there’s no shame in that, it is a very good site, and that should be enough.
