Celebrities Simon Webbe, formally of the boyband Blue, Dean Fagan, who played Luke Britton in Coronation Street, and Jordan Davies from ITV2’s popular Ibiza Weekender are being put by their paces by dancer Kristina Rihanoff as part of the Mecca Bingo Meccarena campaign. 
What’s the deal?
The celebrities have got involved in a challenge, where they will all be taught the dance routine to the Meccarena, as seen on the recent television adverts. Each of the three boys will try to master the dance, and on February 22nd, you will be able to vote across all Mecca Bingo’s social media channels as to who you think has the best Meccarena moves. The history in a boyband makes Simon Webbe arguably the favourite going in, but we are all ready to be surprised by what is to come! 
25 Years On
It may be difficult to believe, but Los Del Rio’s Macarena topped the charts some 25 years ago now, and Mecca Bingo and introducing it to a whole new audience, as well as reminding us all that we still remember the moves! As Caroline Webb, Mecca Bingo spokesperson said: “No matter whether you like the track or not, it’s more than likely you still know all the lyrics and dance moves! It’s catchy, and we generally associate the one hit wonder with happy a memory, which is why we chose the Macarena as the track to feature on our latest campaign. “Kristina has done a fantastic job of coaching the boys, it’s fair to say there were a few interesting interpretations of what they thought the moves were at the start.
