If you love anything and everything to do with Japan then you’re probably a big fan of the country’s fishy local delicacy; sushi. So Much Sushi has been launched as part of a trio from Microgaming, along with So Many Monsters and So Much Candy. This is a beautifully designed game with a theme which will prove mouth-wateringly tempting to lovers of sushi snacks.
Theme
The far east of Asia is a popular setting for video slots and this game is one great example of why that is. The reels are set in what appears to be traditional and authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. The symbols on the reels are, as you would imagine, little pieces of this exotic dish- including California rolls, salmon skill rolls, tuna nigiri and gunkan maki. All of the usual card value symbols can also be found on the reels of the game, but even these have been designed in an ornate oriental style. Mellow Japanese music plays in the background and fits in perfectly with the graphics of the game.
How to play
This is a five reel game with a fixed amount of 25 pay lines. The value of coins starts from just 1p and goes up to 20p, making the minimum bet wager 25p per spin and the maximum £50 per spin. Once you’ve established the betting stakes you wish to play with, all that’s left to do is hit spin and watch the reels roll.
Bonuses and extras
Soy sauce is perhaps the most popular accompaniment to have with sushi dishes. A little bottle of the sweet and spicy dressing and some hot wasabi act as the scatter symbol in So Much Sushi. Find three of these scatters on any of the reels at once and the free spins game will be triggered. This bonus game offers you the choice between eight free spins with wins of up to 160,000 coins per line, 10 free spins with a maximum win of 140,000 coins, 14 free spins with the chance to win 10,000 coins per line or, finally, 16 spins with a max win of 8,000 coins.
