The world of online bingo has been a rollercoaster over recent years, and while certain sites are still flourishing, to some extent at least, law and tax changes have affected many others beyond the point of repair, and three more bingo sites are soon to join the pile.
Bingo Godz
Bingo Godz, which was launched back in 2013, has announced it will be breathing its last breath on October 31st, 2018, with a “Sorry, we’re closing” message visible on the homepage. Despite bringing in the likes of Brian Blessed and Helen Flanagan to help with advertising, and attempting to create an aspect of gamification by offering levels and worlds to move through, Bingo Godz failed to connect with players as much as is necessary. After a strong start in terms of advertising, eve a buyout by LeoVegas couldn’t save the site, and the operator has decided the time has come to put Bingo Godz to sleep.
Bingo Loopy and Bingos
Bingo Godz isn’t the only casualty of the current online bingo market, with its sister sites Bingo Loopy and Bingos.co.uk also announced to be closing soon. Loopy Bingo is not a particularly well know online bingo site and has never been too well received by players, but Bingos.co.uk was a staple of the bingo world for many years, with Kerry Katona starring in much loved adverts some time back.
The LeoVegas bingo remnants
This means that there are only two sites left in the already limited LeoVegas stable of bingo sites, and the future does not look promising for them. While Crown Bingo and Bingo Stars have not announced closure, the fact that none of the closing sites suggest visiting these two suggest it may not be long until they are added to the ever-growing online bingo scrapheap.
