Singer-songwriter and heartthrob Peter Andrew has teamed up with Wink Bingo to launch a new game for charity.
Wink Bingo Hearts of Gold
Previously the face of Gala Bingo, Peter has now launched a new campaign called Hearts of Gold on Wink Bingo. The main aim of the game is to raise £50,000 for the Peter Andre Fund, which was set up in memory of his brother, Andrew. Every ticket sold for Peter’s Hearts of Gold on Wink Bingo will go to the fund, which exclusively supports Cancer Research UK. There are three Hearts of Hold rooms at Wink Bingo. The first is a daily 75 ball room, where games play every 10 minutes from 4pm ‘til 7pm, and from 9pm ‘til 12am. Tickets cost 10p each, with 10% being donated to charity. The second room is a weekly 90-ball room, which plays on a Friday at 10pm, and gives players the chance to win £1,000. Tickets cost 20p each, with 20% of sales going to the charity. Finally, the monthly 90-ball room opens on the last Wednesday of the month at 9pm. Tickets cost 30p each, and 30% goes to charity. Players have the chance to win more, with total prize money standing at £5,000.
Support from Peter Andre
Commenting on the partnership with Wink Bingo, Peter said: “’The money raised from “Peter’s Hearts of Gold” bingo games goes to help Cancer Research UK continue to fund the Cancer Awareness Roadshow, tackling health inequalities from the heart of local communities.” He added: “Anyone who plays this game and helps us raise money really will be showing that they have a heart of gold.” Andrew, who died from cancer in 2012, is Peter’s inspiration for the fund. One of the features of the fun is Pete’s Champions. Anyone who raises more than £2,000 and registers to be a champion will get to meet the Mysterious Girl singer.
