IGT has announced that they have signed a long-term deal with the Norwegian state run lottery operator, Norsk Tipping, which will see the latter adding IGT’s bingo games to its portfolio. The agreement, which was brokered by IGT’s Global Service subsidiary, will run for five years, with three extensions of two ears optional at the end of that period.

As well as supplying its new bingo solution to Norsk Tipping, IGT will also offer support, room management, chat host management, and more. The deal will also cover a collection of online casino games and instant win titles being provided to Norsk by IGT.

Speaking of the new deal, Norsk Tipping’s head of iGaming and VLT, Hans Erland Ringsvold, said: “Since the launch of our iGaming program, IGT’s online solutions and content within multiple categories have played a key role in the program’s success. “With IGT’s new online bingo solution, Norwegian players can safely and responsibly enjoy an enhanced digital offering, with proceeds remaining in Norway to support arts, sports, and cultural initiatives.” Declan Harkin, IGT’s senior CP and COO, International, added: “This agreement enables Norsk Tipping, a leader in regulated digital gaming, to strengthen player acquisition and retention through IGT’s new online bingo solution, offered in combination with online casino and instant win games and available seamlessly in a single game window.” The deal comes in the wake of news of widespread growth across various key financial in Q1 of 2018, with revenue up 5% year-on-year while adjusted income rose 6% and operating income went up a staggering 65%.With this new deal, IGT’s new bingo solution will reach a wider audience and the popularity that the game is already developing looks set to only continue going forward.
