It’s a huge generalisation but bingo fans do tend to enjoy their soap operas. Research has proven that the majority of bingo players in the UK are also fans of the soaps. And playing on this overlap, Dream Bingo has spent a chunk of its marketing budget to sponsor the Inside Soap Awards 2015. 
Inside Soap has already revealed its long list of nominees for each of the 18 awards being presented. The Inside Soap Awards ceremony will take place on 5th October, shortly after the finalists are announced at the end of next month. Soaps fans get to have their say on the long list by voting for the people and shows they think should make it onto the shortlist. Most of the soaps, including Coronation Street, Eastenders and Emmerdale, have been allocated two spots in each of the categories and it’s up to fans to whittle the choices down to find the finalists.

Meanwhile, the award for Best Storyline has been scrapped and replaced with three different awards. This year soap addicts can vote for the Best Affair, Best Show Stopper and Best Shock Twist. You can make your voice heard by visiting the Inside Soap website and casting your votes before 5pm on 31st August.
