If you’re a member of any of the Cassava/888 bingo sites on the Dragonfish network then you may have noticed that some changes are afoot. Indeed, if you’ve recently logged in then you will have been greeted with a pop-up informing you of changes to the sites’ terms and conditions and their bonus policies.
Bonus Money
Until now bonuses, such as a welcome offer cash match bonus, were subject to wagering requirements of 4x. This meant that once you had bet four times the amount of the deposit and bonus you could withdraw any cash that was sitting in your account. You also had the option to withdraw early without meeting the wagering requirements but in doing so you would give up any bonus funds in your account. Any winnings you made from bonus money were automatically allocated as cash, which you were able to withdraw. However, the new rules mean that this is no longer the case. Now if you win using bonus money these winnings will be added to your bingo bonus bankroll meaning you won’t be able to withdraw them before meeting the wagering requirements. Until the bonus wagering requirements have been met, you’ll only be able to win real cash on games played with deposited, rather than bonus, money. Winnings from bonuses will only be released to cash once the wagering requirements have been met.
Loyal Players
Customer communication says the reason behind the change is “in order to increase our bonuses and reward our loyal players.” So while you may not be able to get your hands on bonus cash so quickly, players may find that in the long run they end up with bigger and better bonuses. It’s yet to be seen whether players will perceive the changes as a reward for loyal custom or whether the new terms and conditions will push them to take their money elsewhere.These changes have been gradually adopted by a number of Dragonfish-powered sites over the past month or so but are due to come into force across all sites on the network from Thursday 24th September.
